Audible credits are a recurring benefit of the Premium membership plans. The number of credits and how often you receive them varies per plan, and credits can be used to purchase any title marked with a "1 credit" badge. This includes popular audiobooks, such as those on the New York Times or Amazon bestseller lists, as well as recent releases.

• To get Audible credits, you need an Audible Premium membership.
• You can get either 1 or 2 credits monthly, or 12 or 24 annual credits upfront.
• You can also buy extra credits in bundles.

How can I use my credits?

You can use your credits to buy audiobooks in the Audible app, on the Audible site, or on Amazon. To learn how to buy with credits, visit Buy an audiobook.

Note: Credits can't be used to purchase audiobooks with Amazon Music Unlimited.

Do Audible credits expire?

Credits expire 12 months after they are issued, or upon membership cancellation. Only credits issued through the App Store or Google Play don't expire.

Note: Changing from a Premium to Standard plan will allow you to retain your credits, but they will keep their original expiration date.

Where can I see my credits?

You can view your available credits anytime on the Audible site and in the app.

In the app

1. Open the Audible app.
2. Go to your Profile.
3. Below your name, you will see your credit balance.

On the Audible website

Once signed in to your account, you will see your available credits next to your name from the site's top navigation.

In addition, you can see your credit summary by selecting the dropdown menu next to your available credit or on the Membership details page:

1. Select your username from the site's top navigation.
2. Select Membership details.
3. Select Credit summary.

Note: If you cancel your membership, you will lose your remaining credits.

Can I buy more credits?

Only active Audible Premium members are able to buy credits and the pricing depends on the active membership. We offer different buying options from bundles to single credits directly from the app. Keep in mind that you can buy extra credits if:

• Your membership includes credits.
• You have no credits left.
• You have been an Audible member and have been on the same membership for at least 30 days.

Also, consider these options to get more Audible credits:

• Upgrade your plan to get 2 credits each month instead of 1.
• Purchase an Annual membership plan with 12 or 24 credits provided upfront to use throughout the year.
• Stay connected for special deals by turning on emails and app alerts.

In the app

1. Go to your Profile.
2. Select the Settings gear icon.
3. Go to Membership.
4. Select Details.
5. If you are eligible to purchase extra credits, you will see a banner on top of the screen with the option to purchase additional credits.
6. Choose between 1 credit, 3 credits, or 5 credits.
7. Confirm your purchase.
1. Note: Extra credits purchased in the iOS app will be charged via the App Store. Confirm your purchase by double-pressing the Side Button.
2. Note: Extra credits purchased in the Android app will be charged via the Google Play Store. Confirm your purchase by selecting Buy Now and following the instructions.

On the Audible website

1. Go to the Audible site and sign in to your Audible account.
2. Eligible members will see the option to purchase extra credits on the homepage.
3. Select Buy now.

On the Amazon website

1. Go to the Amazon site and sign in to your Audible account.
2. Browse for an audiobook and select it.
3. Eligible members will see the option to purchase 3 extra credits on the product detail page.

Notes:

• Legacy memberships created prior to December 2005 and Audible Plus memberships aren't eligible.
• Members who are in their trial period aren't eligible to purchase extra credits at a discounted price.

How much are Audible credits?

Audible credits are included with your membership plan, so their price depends on which plan you pick. The best value comes from annual Premium plans. These plans give you your credits up front, full access to the included catalog, and members-only deals and discounts. When you look at all these benefits together and compare the membership cost of an annual plan to a monthly plan, you get more for your money with an annual plan.

How can I check when my credits expire?

You can visit your credit summary page to find the individual expiration dates for each of your active credits.

In the app

1. Open the Audible app.
2. Go to your Profile.
3. Select the Settings gear icon.
4. Go to Membership.
5. Select Details.

On the Audible website

1. Select your username from the site's top navigation.
2. Select Membership details.
3. Select Credit summary.

Note: You also get a monthly credit summary email that lets you know when you have credits expiring within 30 days.

How many credits can I have?
